Privacy policy

The RUKCON 11 silent auction at bid.rukcon.com is run by Rise Up Kings, 1984 Business Park Blvd, Argyle, Texas 76226, for the benefit of RUK Ministries. This policy covers the auction site and its text alerts. The Rise Up Kings privacy policy covers everything else we do.

• Your mobile number, which is how you sign in
• Your name and email, from your RUKCON registration or what you type at sign-in
• Your bids, wins and payments
• Whether you agreed to text alerts, when, and the wording you agreed to
• Your card brand and last four digits. Your full card number goes straight to our payment processor, Stripe, and never touches our servers.
• The network address you sign in from, to stop abuse of the sign-in screen

To run the auction: sign you in, take your bids, tell you when you are outbid or have won, charge the card you saved for the items you win, and send your receipt. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

The room screen and item pages may show the top bidder by first name and last initial (for example, Marcus T.) or by bidder number. Rise Up Kings staff running the auction see your bids and contact details so they can hand out certificates and help with payments.

We share information only with the services that run the auction for us, and only what each needs: Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messages), Resend (email), Supabase (our database and item photos) and Vercel (hosting). We may also share information when the law requires it.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.

You can stop auction texts at any time by replying STOP. See text alerts for how the program works.

We use one cookie to keep you signed in on your phone. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics.

We keep auction records as long as we need them for receipts, accounting and tax records, and delete what we no longer need.
